Conejo and Ardilla (L2)
Conejo and Ardilla are two friends who live in a meadow where the leaves are changing colors, and the air is getting cooler. Ardilla is a mischievous squirrel who is always up for an adventure, while Conejo is a cute bunny who loves to learn new things.
As winter approaches, Ardilla wants to teach Conejo how to prepare for the cold months ahead.
"Hey, Conejo," Ardilla said one day. "Winter is coming, and we need to start preparing. Let me show you how to gather acorns for the winter."
Conejo was excited to learn from Ardilla and eagerly followed her to the oak tree where the acorns were plentiful. Ardilla taught him how to collect the acorns, sort them, and store them in a safe place for the winter.
But what Ardilla didn't know was that acorns made rabbits sick. Conejo had heard about this before but didn't want to disappoint Ardilla, so he didn't say anything.
As the days went by, Conejo started to feel sick and weak. He couldn't eat anything and felt very tired all the time. Ardilla noticed that Conejo wasn't feeling well and asked him what was wrong.
Conejo finally confessed that he had been eating acorns, and they were making him sick. Ardilla was shocked and felt terrible for not knowing that acorns were harmful to rabbits.
"I'm so sorry, Conejo," Ardilla said. "I had no idea that acorns were bad for rabbits. Let me take care of you and make sure you feel better."
Ardilla took care of Conejo, giving him plenty of water and other foods that were safe for rabbits. She also apologized and promised to be more careful in the future.
Conejo forgave Ardilla, knowing that she had meant well and had learned an important lesson. And so, Conejo and Ardilla continued to enjoy the beauty of nature, learning and growing together, and always being mindful of each other's needs.
